Altnacealgach Motel North Coast 500

Covid-19 Information

We are taking health and safety very seriously

At the Altnacealgach Motel we take the health and safety of our guests and staff seriously and as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic we have made some changes to our rooms and our cleaning regime.

The Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC) has set out industry standards and best practices, which we are implementing in our rooms and in our Inn next door.

Between guests all rooms are aired, cleaned and disinfected. All cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment is removed from each room and put through our commercial dishwasher.

Linen is (as it has always been) washed on a 60 degree full cycle using a good quality washing powder. Bedding (pillows/duvets/mattresses) are disinfected between stays.

We have removed all non-essential soft furnishings from the rooms, such as bed runners, throws and cushions, as these are hard to clean/disinfect.

We have also removed the guest folders from the rooms – the information will be emailed to guests prior to their arrival.

We are monitoring the advice being circulated by the Scottish Government and the ASSC and will implement changes as necessary.

If you have any questions or would like further information regarding our procedures please contact us through the website contact form or give us a call.

Thanks,
Sue and Craig
